  1. I’m sorry to have to tell you that my brother Andrew Lowe-Watson, who composed MArianne Dreams, passed away on 25th April 2021, after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease.

    1. Dear Stephen, I am so sad to hear your news about Andrew. He and I had been in touch from time to time over the years and I remember coming to see him at your mother’s house to rehearse bits of the Marianne score, and chatting to her, and meeting his partner Andrew. Marianne was such a wonderful piece of music and a very exciting project for me as a young singer. I know it was dear to his heart as he had worked so closely with Catherine Storr on the opera and was pretty devastated she didn’t live to see the performance at Sadler’s Wells. He was such a lovely man to work with and a brilliant musician. I am so sorry to hear this. May his memory be a blessing to you and all who loved him. Thank you for letting me know. With all best wishes, Suzy
